The Yaesu VP-1000 is an external AC power supply for use with the VL-1000 Linear Amplifier, providing 48 Volts DC at up to 48 Amperes for extended periods.

Note: Although the VP1000 can be purchased separately, the VP1000 is actually included with the VL-1000, forming the "QUADRA" System.

• Capable of Heavy Duty applications, such as Full Power AM, FM or RTTY transmissions.
• Thermally switched cooling fan automatically activates during long periods of high current demands.
• Alarm signal output is provided to the VL-1000 to avoid damage in the event that excessive current, voltage or over-heating of the heatsink should occur.
• Will operate from either 230 or 120 Volts without configuration changes (requires plug change/adaptor).
